Welcome to Marando's Cafe!

Hi there! My name is Carla and I have a passion for creating connection through coffee. The dream is to one day have an actual brick and mortar location of Marando's Cafe but for now, I'm located on the back of a 30 year old mini truck and ready to bring your coffee moment to you!

The name "Marando's Cafe" was inspired by my Italian grandmother's unconditional love and welcoming presence. My grandmother never knew a stranger - you were always welcome in her home, no matter who you were. When you come to Marando's Cafe, that is exactly how you will be treated - like family :)

Today, my grandmother would have turned 95.

I miss her every single day.

I am grateful to God every single day for blessing me with a grandmother so kind, hospitable and caring that she inspired the mini coffee truck I now call Marando’s Cafe.

Happy Birthday, grandma. Love you forever 🤍

Finally recovering from our 3-day bender….

And all I gotta say is that it was absolutely incredible. We got to do everything we could hope to do with the truck - serve coffee, meet new people, experience random acts of kindness and witness the joy that the truck brings to people 🤍☕�️

We are exhausted but we would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Endlessly grateful for the places that this truck takes me.

Hitting a rush on a mini coffee truck is a whole other type of energy 😂

We’ve been kind of quiet recently….

But that’s because we have been busy working on so many new and exciting things!

Including an upgrade to our whole milk supply!

We are thrilled to be using whole milk that is locally sourced from @countrycreameryfarm right here in Wooster, OH!

At Marando’s Cafe, we are all about being intentional - from the way we serve you your drink to the ingredients that we use in every cup, there is so much thought that goes into it! ☺️☕️

So it’s safe to say we are so excited to not only be supporting a local business but to also now be using a high quality milk where you can taste the difference!

It’s impossible to summarize in words the most incredible year of your life.

So in addition to a few photos, here are some fast Marando’s Cafe 2025 facts:

- set up at 65 events
- served 952 lattes
- fit the truck inside 3 different building locations
- 260 gallons of whole milk used
- 120 bags of ices

I could go on. But my favorite stat of the year:

- an endless amount of priceless interactions with all of you 🤍

How do you celebrate a year of being in business?

How do you describe it?

How do you find the words to thank the ENDLESS amount of people behind the scenes who have supported me, encouraged me, believed in me, guided me? Or to thank the complete strangers, who are now friends, that take the time out of their day to come see us at the truck when we are set up?

How do you do it?

I have come to find that it is near impossible to express my gratitude in words because the words just simply don’t exist.

So I’ll keep it simple-

Thank you all. Every single one of you - following along, coming to events, reading this post. Thank you.

Without you, Marando’s Cafe would not exist. Without you, I wouldn’t be blessed with the opportunity to share the same love and kindness to others through coffee that my grandma demonstrated every single day of her life.

And I truly believe that she has been with me every step of the way - through the good times and the bad times.

And I believe she will continue to be with me for years to come. 🤍

I’m not gonna lie guys, I am feeling REALLY excited about this lineup here!

I’m not a matcha girly (of course I still serve it 🫶🏼) however this Mistletoe Matcha has got me feeling super festive!

Absolutely spook-tacular time!

Halloween has always been my favorite time of year! It was so fun to decorate the truck in spooky decorations, serve up some warm cozy drinks all while being surrounded by trick-or-treaters in fun Halloween costumes!🧙‍♀️

Needless to say, it felt like straight out of a Hallmark movie and we were THRIVING! 🎃

Biggest thank you goes out to the Smithville Historical Society for asking us to come set up! We had a blast!

Espresso, brown sugar & pumpkin cold foam - introducing our last minute drink special for the weekend (because I am suddenly really feeling in the fall spirit lol) The Great Pumpkin Brew!!

This week is all about taking in moments of peace. Over a warm cup of coffee, of course 🤍☕️

Usually around this time of week, I would be posting my weekly schedule.

But not this week.

Instead, I’m posting this photo of my fiancé and I because marrying him is the only thing I have on my schedule for the next week and a half 🤍

LAST PUBLIC EVENT AS A STOLL 🥹

This Friday 9/19 will be our only public event this month and my last event with the last name “Stoll”. Now that’s crazy.

We will be set up at HealthPoint in Wooster, OH from 9am - 1pm as part of a bake sale fundraiser for the American Heart Association!

So please, come out and enjoy one of our fall drink specials, snack on a delicious homemade pastry all while supporting an incredible cause!

I miss seeing your smiling faces and can’t wait to see you all one last time as a STOLL 🥹

BIG WEEKEND LINEUP!

Starting off with setting up tomorrow morning (Thursday 7/10) at our regular spot downtown for the Farmers Market with @woosterrecreation from 8am - 12pm!

Then we close the weekend strong and SUNNY with setting up next to one of our favorite boutiques in town @sunnyboutiquewooster on Sunday 7/13 from 10am - 3pm!! Super pumped to be setting up here again! Great people, great vibes and fantastic items to shop from!
